Allergy free Easter Egg

These are one of the healthiest Easter Eggs.


150g carob flakes
11/2tbsp honey or agave syrup
2tsp coconut oil
1tsp vanilla extracts


1. Place the carob, honey and coconut oil in a heatproof bowl, and place it over a saucepan of hot water.
2. When all the ingredients are melted together take it off the heat and stir in the vanilla extract and mix.( keep in mind it does look like the chocolate has split but once it hardens it is fine)
3. Spread the chocolate mix into the egg moulds and let them cool to room temperature then, put it in the fridge to harden.
4. To put the egg together melt the sides (I did it with my flat sandwich toaster) and put the egg together( you can fill the centre with whatever sweets or candy you like I filled then with jellytots )
You could cover it with nice colourful foil.

This recipe is Dairy Free, Wheat Free, Gluten Free, Egg Free, Nut Free, Refined Sugar Free, and Cocoa Free it is also suitable for vegans and coeliacs.
